Preparing Girls for College, Career & Life.

Presentation High School is an independent all-girls college preparatory school founded in the Catholic mission, located in San Jose, California. Our inclusive community fosters a lifelong sisterhood and encourages the development of the whole person: academically, spiritually and personally.

Students of all faiths and backgrounds come together at Pres to embrace possibilities and define their unique paths through exceptional academics, award-winning teams and clubs, and individualized support. We believe in justice, love and mercy, and that if you can dream it, you can do it.

Here, every girl shines — no matter who she is or where she comes from.

When Passion Meets Opportunity, Anything is Possible.

We build robots. We dance. We code. We care. This is a place to explore, to discover, to serve, to learn and lead. To meet sisters you never knew you had. To go places you never knew existed. To discover a new passion and cultivate your talents.

Think critically and solve problems through our 30 STEM courses and Math & Science Academy, which offers 8 clubs, independent research classes, and an award-winning Robotics program.

Express yourself through our nationally recognized dance and choir programs, and unleash your creativity through digital, performing and fine arts.

Practice leadership, self-discipline and teamwork through our championship-winning athletics program, which has produced Olympians, college stars, and is supported by world-class professional coaches.

Learn to set goals, develop your mission and build a team in a supportive environment at our Woman's Leadership Institute.

Do all this and more while experiencing an academic and social edge as a result of our all-girls advantage. Research shows that young women in all-female environments earn higher test scores, develop higher self-esteem, and assume more leadership positions throughout their lifetime.

'Our daughter is currently a senior at Presentation High School. She, and we, have been extremely pleased with the overall experience. Having completed her middle school at a co-ed private school, we were looking for the best environment for our daughter to be her authentic self, explore her passions, and take risks. Presentation has proven to be a perfect fit. The school leadership, teachers and administration are highly engaged and dedicated to the academic and spiritual development of our child. Our daughter has excelled in the all-girls, faith-based environment at Presentation which provided her with numerous opportunities to immerse herself in the school community. She was involved in student leadership, community service and sports, and she really enjoyed the challenge and school spirit. We are grateful to have landed at Presentation and look forward to her graduating this year!'

Presentation was absolutely the right choice for our daughter and for us. She’s found a great community of friends at Pres and has enjoyed a variety of activities that have also given her a chance to develop her leadership skills. We love that she’s had the opportunity to thrive both academically and socially, and know that Pres has prepared her well for the next stage of her life.

Balance Matters.

We talk a lot about balance; its brilliance within our community, and the radiance our students emit once they learn how to harness it.

But what makes it so important? We’ve put together our thoughts on why achieving balance—in the classroom, in our hearts, and in our dedication to service—matters.

Enter your email below, and we’ll send you parts 1 and 2 in our “Brilliance of Balance” series.

Be bold. Be you.

Uncover your authentic self at Presentation High School. We can’t wait to meet you.
